Charleston Proposal
A huge congrats to Ryan and Lauren on their Engagement! This was special as they had just bought property in Charleston and Ryan wanted to propose on the piece of property! Ryan got Lauren to the property by telling her they had to meet the builder, on a Saturday at 6 PM... Not sure how he convinced her of this but he did. He bought his story so much that he also told her the builder is a teacher which is currently my day job. They say if you tell yourself a lie long enough you will start to believe it and in this case, Ryan fully believed his story!
This was another Charleston summer night, storms all around us and weather apps going crazy but we made it without getting wet! They had pulled up to the property and I was hiding on the ground in a neighbors yard when Ryan saw me and knew it was all set and ready! Lauren is looking around for the builder and Ryan is pulling her to the right spot and then it happens she finally realizes what is going on!
Lauren was so surprised and so happy she didn't even let Ryan open the ring box before she was screaming yes! It was so awesome to watch! So you will see the surprise in her face in these pictures the first time when he asks to marry him and second when she sees the ring!
After a few shots there we went to Downtown Charleston and went to colonial lake to do some shots and then to the US Custom House! When we get out of the car Lauren was facetiming some family and friends and all you can hear is everyone screaming with excitement! You can see the love these two have for each other in the way they look at each other and the support from friends and family show it that much more!
A unique part of the experience with me is that I turn some parts of our session into gifs! So you will be able to relieve our time together in short little videos as well as through the photos! I would love to talk with you about your engagement, couples session or wedding!

aBOUT ME
My name is Brandon and I am the owner of Brandon Allan Photography! I am based out of Charleston, South Carolina! My goal in photography is to help capture your memories for years to come!
I moved to Charleston in June of 2020, yup right in the middle of covid. It made for an interesting time to uproot my life but it was for the best! I originally moved here to coach football but after a year I decided to make a change and became a teacher and got to start my business and I haven't looked back since!
I have met so many great people who either are visiting Charleston and looking for a photographer or people who live here who are trying to update some photos and just create some memories! Again that is my goal with photography is to capture your memories!
