Charleston Photography session-
Vannessa and Kyle were the winners of my giveaway! We did our session at Colonial Lake in Downtown Charleston! Whenever I do a session I loved to get started with some type of movement and typically it's a walking prompt, 9 times out of 10 I go right for the drunk walk! I absolutely love this because it is something that gets them laughing and not worrying about the camera! I know that I wouldn't want a camera in my face when I am just starting out in a session so I am not going to make my clients go through that!
Throughout our time we fully focused on prompts and capturing the emotions that they showed with each other! I don't know all the rules and angles about how your body is supposed to be but what I do know is that if I am capturing your love and you can see it in the photos, that is going to be far better than telling you a million directions and having it look unnatural.
A few of my favorite prompts are:
- Drunk walk and have one partner hold up the other! Usually make the guy or the taller person the one who is acting drunk!
- Tell one partner to do everything they can to kiss the other on the lips. Tell the other partner to do everything they can to kiss their partner anywhere on the face but the lips
- Start pretending to be an airplane and go into a tight hug!
- Have one partner whisper in their sexiest voice, their grocery list! This one is a great one to get a ton of shots and turn into a gif!
One thing that you will get from our time together with all the prompts is I will make gifs for you with those prompts! It is something that will help remember our time together and just a little something I think sets me a part!
